Abbas Hasnain, M.D., J.D.

PRIMARY MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Abbas Hasnain, MD, JD, is an internal medicine physician and medical director serving the southern San Joaquin Valley. Originally from Porterville, California, he is known for delivering high-quality, up-to-date medical care across hospital, skilled nursing, subacute, rehabilitation, and hospice settings.

Dr. Hasnain earned his Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from Trinity School of Law in Orange County. He completed his medical training through the UAG / New York Medical College MD Program, including a pre-internship at New York Medical College and an Internal Medicine residency at UCSF Fresno.

He trained at Community Regional Medical Center, a Level I trauma center, and the VA Hospital of Central California, gaining experience managing complex and high-acuity patients. Dr. Hasnain continues to practice inpatient internal medicine while holding multiple medical directorships overseeing hospice, skilled nursing, subacute, and rehabilitation facilities throughout Central California.

Dr. Hasnain is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physician Specialties in Internal Medicine and a Certified Medical Director. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and speaks English, Punjabi, and Spanish.

Dr. Shada Attraplsi, M.D.

Internal Medicine, Licensed Hospitalist

Dr. Shada Attraplsi received her medical degree from University of Tripoli School of Medicine in Tripoli, Libya in 2001, where she gained valuable experience in dermatology and internal medicine practice in one of the main hospitals in Libya. She received her master degree in clinical research and science from Rush Medical Center in Chicago, IL in 2014. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Marshall University medical center in 2017. She currently works as a Licensed Hospitalist at a level 1 trauma center, a community regional medical center (CRMC). She is a professional behavior chair and peer committer reviewer at CRMC. She is a dedicated clinical educator, assistant professor and faculty at California Health Sciences University, CA where she teaches medical students.As a clinical researcher, Dr. Attraplsi published numerous research articles on a wide range of conditions. She has engaged in the best of what modern medicine can offer. Dr. Attraplsi is a Functional Nutritional Counselor and Environmental Toxin Counselor as her passion is to bring an integral approach to patient care and provide you with a refreshing perspective on the art of medical practice with compassion and a new level of consciousness.Dr. Attraplsi speaks fluent English and Arabic.

Dr. Doan Q. Nguyen, M.D.

PSYCHIATRY

Dr. Nguyen is originally from Southern California. He attended the University of California, Irvine for undergraduate where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He went on to earn his medical degree from New York Medical College in 2016. Thereafter, he went back to California and finished his residency training in Psychiatry at University of California Irvine Medical Center. After completion of his residency training, Dr. Nguyen has worked in many settings including outpatient services in the County Of Orange, County HIV clinic, and Illumination Foundation Medical Group, where he treats the underserved population with severe and persistent mental illness. He currently serves as a consultation psychiatrist for Sierra Care facilities.

Dr. Anwer Baloch, MD

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Baloch graduated from the Ain Shams University Facility of Medicine in Abbasia, Cairo, Egypt in 1981. He currently lives and works in Porterville, CA where he specializes in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Baloch has over 36 years of experience as a MD and is affiliated with Sierra View Medical Center in Porterville, CA.
